Gala Support Team
Poynton Dippers takes part in a collection of galas and run a number of social events throughout the year. We're grateful to have amazing support from parents who help with gala admin and as team manager at events.

Poolside Support
Young Volunteers
Our young volunteers provide poolside support to coaches, and take on the responsibility to lead lanes. Some take part in the Swim England Young Volunteers Programme which provides a pathway into coaching. The majority of our young volunteers are swimmers with Poynton Dippers, and also help by providing poolside support at local galas.

We're grateful to all of our volunteers but none more so than our poolside support team. This is where most of us start our journey as a parent of a swimmer, you come poolside once...and before you know it your on a pathway to a Level 1 Coaching course! Seriously it is fab to have such support throughout our club - thank you very much.

Committee
Our committee is made up of volunteers who hold a passion for the smooth running and operations of Poynton Dippers Swimming Club. Many of our committee are parents of active swimmers at the club.
The club abides by its constitution, and operates within the Swim England's Code of Ethics.
Welfare
The safety of our members is of great importance to us. The majority of our members are children. We therefore ensure all our coaches have up to date DBS and Safeguarding certificates. We implement the Swim England Wave Power policies on welfare. We have a dedicated Welfare officer who has been specifically trained by Swim England for the role.
Club Volunteers
The club has a set of roles which sit outside the committee but just as vital in the running of the club. Our volunteers give us their own time to perform key roles which is very much appreciated by all the members - thank you!
